We are happy to announce that we have chosen to sell prepackaged school supplies from May 2 to June 5 for the 2022-23 school year through School Tool Box. Supply boxes will be delivered directly to STM, so your child will be all set to begin the new school year. Please be sure to order the correct grade level box for the 2022-23 year. From May 2 to June 5, visit schooltoolbox.com to place your order!
We are celebrating everyone who works at STM! Please email your notes of appreciation to Michelle Fontenot at michellefontenot23@gmail.com from you and/or your child sharing your love for the STM faculty and staff (maintenance, guidance, office, Extended Care, nurse — everyone!)
Click here for summer reading lists for your child's grade level. The Summer Reading test dates for students entering grades 3-6 are Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, July 28. Students may only test on one (1) book on these testing dates. Students may wait until we return to school in August to take one or both summer reading tests. Please email Sara Wisdom at wisdoms@stmbr.org if you have any questions.
Extended Care staff: We are seeking adults, college students and high school seniors. Hours are 6:30-7:30 a.m. and/or 2:30-5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Applicants may contact Gretchen Thibodeaux at 225-275-2820 or thibodeauxg@stmbr.org.
Morning carpool time is 7:20 to 7:40 a.m. Please be sure to arrive on time, so we may close and lock the gate at 7:40 a.m. and join the school for morning prayer and assembly. As you exit the PK/K carpool area in the morning and afternoon, please know that bikers and walkers are crossing the exit on the sidewalk to get to and from school. We will place a stop sign in that area to help everyone slow down, but we felt this reminder was paramount in keeping our students safe. Please stop and look in this area to make sure no one is trying to cross.
Each student is invited to bring one flower on Thursday, May 5, for May Crowning. The flowers will be put together in baskets and presented to Mary by each grade level.
Students may wear blue socks and bows on this day.
On Monday, May 9, carpool for grades 5-8 returns to its normal location in the Church lot.
Please click here for the 5-8 carpool map.
Bring your gently-used uniforms to school on these days, according to your child's grade level. We need only items with the "One STM" logo, plus navy and plaid bottoms. May 13 is for 8th grade only. May 24 is for grades PK-7.
Thank you to all of our volunteers who put on the 8th Grade Mother/Daughter Fiesta. Special thanks to Jenee Olivier!

Did you know that people who volunteer to help with the Festival have even more fun than Festival attendees? It's true! Just ask any of the hundreds of volunteers who make our parish Festival a success. We still have opportunities to volunteer for the many booths/events we have going on during Festival weekend. Visit the volunteer sign-up at https://www.stmfestival.com/volunteer and help in one of our many food booths, game booths, or taking down after the Festival.
The Plant Booth asks for your generosity in the donations of plants to sell Festival weekend. All rooted cuttings or seedlings of flowers, herbs, or any type of plants - POTTED & READY TO SELL - will be accepted. Plant donations can be dropped off right before the Festival today, Friday, April 29.
You can still purchase raffle tickets in the Check Cashing Booth throughout Festival weekend. The $10,000 Raffle: SIX winners will be drawn (1) $10,000, (2) $1,000, (1) $500, and (2) $250.
