While we may be far from dunking, there’s no doubt that STM Basketball is high-flying and quick to move the ball up and down the court. Our coaches are committed to teaching the game and preparing our teams to play their best in tournaments, in our gym and any gym.
Go to our school's Facebook page to find the Live Stream event pages for each of our home games.

Take school spirit to new heights as part of the cheerleading squad. At STM, there’s a lot to be proud of, so get fired up, tell other teams to bring it on, and rally the school together under our three letters.
We have three cheerleading squads – third and fourth grade, fifth and sixth grade, and seventh and eighth grade. Tryouts are not required for any of the three squads.
The third and fourth grade squad cheers at home and away football games. The fifth and sixth grade squad cheers at home and away football games. While both fifth and sixth graders cheer at the football games, only the sixth grade cheerleaders cheer at home CSAL girls and boys basketball games. The seventh and eighth grade squad cheers together at home and away football games as well as home CSAL girls and boys basketball games.
The 7th and 8th grade squad participates in a variety of other events throughout the year such as summer cheer camp, a Christmas or Mardi Gras parade and at school assemblies (like Red Ribbon Week) and pep rallies.
Students in Grades 5-8 are invited to join the Cross Country Team in the fall to develop skills and stamina through long-distance running. Student athletes work toward personal records (PRs), always pushing themselves and teammates to be the best they can be. Students compete individually and as a team.

Lace up, take the field, and wear the STM on your helmet with pride. STM Football knows a thing or two about touchdowns, so join the football team, learn the Xs and Os, and compete with area schools. And parents, our friendly community is close-knit, so you’ll enjoy the weekend game day experiences, too.

It’s so much more than shooting hoops. Girls basketball is fast-paced and competitive so there will be no shortage of excitement at game time. Learn the fundamentals, play against other schools in the area, and take your best shot at winning the big trophies at local tournaments.

We are excited to offer co-ed intramural volleyball for boys and girls in 3rd and 4th grade this year. Games will be played on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings in March and April. We will schedule 6-8 games for the kids and mix in practices as well. The combining of grade levels will depend on the number of students who sign up from each grade. Coaches will be former volleyball players and parent volunteers who will focus on the basics of volleyball. The program will be led by Ms. Kimberly Ashmore, an STM alum and former volleyball coach here at STM. More information on practices and game formats will be sent out after registration closes.
Volleyball is offered for girls in grades 5-8. Developmental volleyball is for grade 5 only, while grades 6-8 are at the varsity and junior varsity levels.
