Welcome!
St. Thomas More has been a consistent beacon of light within the Baton Rouge community for more than 60 years. Throughout our storied history, we have watched our city and community grow. Countless families have worshipped in our pews, celebrated the baptism of their children, witnessed their vows, and mourned the loss of a loved one.
Students have walked our halls during these years, being formed in our Catholic faith and deepening their relationship with our loving Savior. We are a diverse community striving daily to encounter Christ through the sacraments, and through striving to guide, to inspire, and to serve each other and the community around us.
We welcome you to worship with us and to serve alongside us. Our hope is that you may find your place among fellow disciples here, serving our God and community.
Subscribe to audio homilies, follow the podcast, read Fr. Michael’s commentary on Catholic spirituality and more when you follow the Diocese of Baton Rouge’s most connected pastor.
Through faith and fellowship, the collective body of parishioners, students, educators and visitors of St. Thomas More represent a Greater Baton Rouge community that accepts the responsibility to serve others and embraces the challenge to be more for each other.
By challenging students and educators to Be More, STM provides a Catholic education that goes beyond the classroom to inspire the hearts of minds of students with a unique spirit of service, knowledge and compassion.
