What Does It Mean To Be Pro-Life?
When we hear the word “pro-life” what comes to mind? Do we think of a politics or a ministry in the Church? Is it just a religious topic or a hot topic for a news report? Is it something to talk about or a way to live? Pro-Life means to promote life each day by walking in the footsteps of Jesus and responding to His call given in Matthew 22:39, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” In doing this we realize two things: all life belongs to God because he made and loves us; and because of this love, we are called to protect life.
