Policies for Tuition and Fees
Registration fees are due at the time of application to the school. Registration fees are nonrefundable unless the student is not accepted to the school. The registration fee includes the per family Capital Improvement fee ($100) and Home and School dues ($15).
Student fees are assessed to each student and are paid with tuition. Student fees are nonrefundable.
The Capital Maintenance Fee (CMF) is assessed to families who are not "identified givers" of the church parish in which they are registered or who are not registered at one of our in-parish churches - St. Thomas More, St. Patrick, St. Anthony or Immaculate Conception Church Parish. The Capital Maintenance Fee (CMF) is paid with tuition.
Tuition is assessed based (1) on the Catholicity of the student and (2) whether or not the parents or guardians are identified givers in their registered church parish. Parents or guardians who are registered at one of our in-parish churches, but are not identified givers of those parishes will be charged the "Other Catholic Church Parishes" tuition.
An identified giver is one who tithes at least $300 to their church parish in the calendar year before the school year (i.e. tithe in 2010 for the 2011-2012 school year). Tithing must be marked with the name of the family in order for the family to be credited with payment.
Tuition and registration fees are set by the School Board of St. Thomas More School on a yearly basis. All St. Thomas More tuition payments are interest free. Tuition can be paid in one of two ways:
1. Paid in full by June 20, 2011.
2. Paid in 10 monthly installments by direct draft of a bank account designated by the parent or guardian. The monthly installments are drafted on the 4th of each month, July through January and March through May. Re-registration fees are drafted in February. No tuition or fees are drafted in June.
