The Student Council at Saint Thomas More works to promote spirit as well as school, church, and community service.  Executive officers are elected by the 7th and 8th grade students, and each homeroom class elects officers to represent them in Student Council activities.  Student Council members must maintain a 2.5 grade point average in their seven academic subjects and have a "B" average in conduct each nine weeks.  Student Council executive officers are planning events for the fall including a pep rally, Halloween safety talks to the lower grades, and a volleyball tournament to raise money for cystic fibrosis.  The Student Council also participates in the Youth Legislature in the spring.  Listed below are members of the STM Student Council for 2008-2009.
